My latest Popular Mechanics (or was it Science) did a side by side with the Genesis Coupe and the Infinity Coupe, they were so close on their comparison it negligible. (The Genesis, obviously, MUCH less expensive and imho looked much nicer)

you have 3 choices really...
1. buy a precertified BMW 06 or 07, the convertibles are going for about 42k
2. buy a KIA with a trunk full of pot and pretend your driving a beemer or
3. inherit your sister's ride - see below

bout 4 months too late, i think

I found out yesterday my honda accord doesn't qualify for the clunkers for cash deal yesterday or I was gonna buy a kia this week.

Anyways, on vacation this week...putting in a 480 square foot patio (12 x 40) behind the house this tuesday. Gonna buy some patio furniture this week and wait for a good opportunity for a vehicle later.

Jeremy Clarkson is the best auto review writer ever.

here's his audi a3 review

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/drivin ... 824088.ece
Audi says in the adverts that the A3 has fire in its eyes but, take it from me, there’s none in its belly.
.....
Nor did I care about the slightly stodgy handling or lifeless steering. This is a high- quality executive trinket, as metronomic and as precise as a Newton’s cradle, and just as dull.

I want a Suburu Outback.

Buy me one instead of wasting your money on that Audi.

wierd, I wonder if he test drove an A3 with the sport suspension kit and 2.0 turba direct fuel injected engine?

That's the first bad review on an A3 I ever saw.

Anyway I gotta stick with the A3. Audi fixed it up and I got engaged. So yah there goes my money.

Clarkson has cult status in the UK. He hosts a show called Top Gear on BBC. I think they show it on BBC America. Check it out, very good show for anyone with a passing interest in cars.
